The Zurich "Freilager" comprises approximately 70,000 m2. As part of the conversion a master plan was created which determines the density and uses, and the inner and outer exploration on traffic.

After creating the master plan the traffic conditions are also contributed to the drafting of the design plan and the subsequent environmental impact report. For the environmental impact report, the additional trips on the relevant road sections have been calculated. For the node Rauti-/Flursstreet has been demonstrated for different usage scenarios the performance. We also made recommendations for the node expansion.

The offer of public transport is inadequate today around the "Freilager" area. With the redevelopment of the area in the future, about 2,000 new residents will be added. The meaning and importance of an expansion of the offer, we advised the Zurich Public Transport company (VBZ), and we also develop our own potential operational concepts.

For the node City will be creating a project.  The VBZ is to examine its operational concept for the buses around the "Freilager" area and then adjust.
